HI, We already have a Pekin female that wandered up into our yard and we have adopted her. She has begun to lay eggs and has become very friendly and attached to me as I am the one who normally feeds her and changes her water in her pool. She will walk up to me in the mornings and let me pet her and even pick her up. We have been discussing adding other ducks now. We have been looking at the Khaki Campells due to all the good things we have read about them. Will these get along with my Pekin and will she get along with them? Thanks in advance for any advice or information you can provide.

Most likely. I have not seen any big problems with ducks getting along. You should quarentine your new ducks from the Pekin for a few weeks before introducing them, though, to mimimize the threat of disease.

OK. Thanks everyone. Very helpful. With all the reseach we have been doing we are thinking when we add others to the Pekin we have to just get females and possibly add a drake later once we get established.

Thanks again for all the info!
