I am having a hard time finding crumbles at lower protein levels. My runners and Khaki’s are 3 weeks ild now and I am trying to get them off the 22% crumbles to an 18%, I am feeding the big ducks Kalmbach duck/goode pellets, which are small pellets. Today I ran some through food processor, it sort of worked, but it’s not something I plan to do every day for the next 3 months. Does anyone have thoughts on when they can switch to pellets or are there sources for 18%ish crumbles somewhere available without calcium or medication?

Could you just make them into a mash?

Any opinions on this? Its 18% protein, doesn’t specifically state that it unmedicated, but doesn’t list it either, just a lot of probiotic drivel.

Alternatively, what is the opinion on 20% protein? I have runners and KC’s so they aren’t particularly big breeds anyway.

I could also possibly mix 14%game bird maintenance crumbles with 20% starter….?
