Pellets?

I'm new here! Our chickens are almost five months, started laying about two weeks ago. We went to get chicken feed and accidentally bought pellets instead of crumbled. They seem to be eating it just fine, but not enjoying it as much as the crumbled. Should I mix crumbled with the pellets? Or are the pellets fine? Their eggs are nice and hard. Should I be adding anything else to their diet?

Just pellets should be fine. I seem to lose less feed when I use pellets. Oyster shells are always a nice treat to add to feed.
