Pen space for pheasants and quail?

Hey i just started raising pheasants last year. I curently have 7 hens and a rooster but want to get more. Befor I do so i need to build a bigger flight pen and wanted to know how many square feet per bird you give for your ring necks.
Also like to get into quail as well so same question applys there if any one can help me out.

A lot depends on what you are keeping them for.
Food ?
Release ?
Pets ?
etc....

Each state has different requirements for ringnecks.You would have to check with your local fish and game dept for guideline.Before you contact them,make sure you have the proper permit to raise them.Permits here in N.H. are for ringnecks only,no other species require a permit.Same for quial,bobwhites require a permit no other species of quial do.Again that is here in N.H.,your state may be different.
