I often give my meat birds the extra raw goat milk that we have. My milk tests at 4% protein and 4% fat. I am wondering how to convert the amount of protein in the milk to the equivalent in dry feed. Milk is 85-90% water if that helps. I don't think 4% is correct.
What I'm trying to figure out is if I want to reduce their grain feed and replace with milk, how much milk will replace the grain on an equal basis.
