For those of you that have bantams, what size are your perches. I live in west central Illinois so it does got cold here.

Thanks.Any perch that's appropriate for chickens in general should work for well enough Cochin bantams. That said, I've noticed that mine do better with flatter perches, so 2x4s work better than natural branches for them, for example. I suspect their excess of foot feathering and often reduced-in-size outer toes makes it harder for them to grip rounded perches. Narrow side up or wide side up doesn't seem to make a difference with the 2x4 perches I've provided mine, just that the surface is flat.
