Perfectly fine yesterday, sick and not eating or drinking today.

This has been going on for several months now. Only one hen at a time stops eating, drinking, and leaving the coop. I have given them vitamins, treated for worms, coccidia and mycoplasma to no avail. They basically wither away until I put them down. They are all free range and not crowded in pens. What am I missing?

Are you from an area that has mosquitoes? Any chance they could have fowl pox, the wet kind in their mouths?

Sorry for your loss. What symptoms are you seeing? How old are the hens? Were they vaccinated for anything? A necropsy by the state poultry vet is the best way to find out what is killing your chickens. Here is a list of poultry vets to contact in case you lose another:

It's been cold enough to keep any mosquitoes dormant. Everyone looks perfectly fine.
