Peritonitis Question

Hi all. I have a chicken that I am pretty sure has peritonitis. Earlier today I found a lash egg in the nest box. The question i have is: if I cull her, would the meat still be usable if I butcher her out, or does the infection spoil the rest of the meat? I tried googling, but I couldn't find an answer. Thanks!

Salpingitis which causes lash eggs comes from infection inside the egg tract. Often those infections are ecoli and salmonella, so no I wouldn't recommend eating.

I agree, for me personally I would not consume a hen that has Salpingitis nor Peritonitis.
