Hey everybody! I have around 40 rescue chickens and ducks (as I'm sure some of you already know). Most of them have responded to treatment and are doing much better but I have two that are being problematic.

This little girl showed up with wheezing/rattling and a lot of mucous from her mouth nose and eyes. She has done 7 days of Duramycin in her water, followed by a two day break, and then 5 days of Tylan-50 (1/2cc daily). I also used a vaporizer for a few days with her and that tremendously helped her rattly breathing. She sounds much better but it moved to her eyes. Her cheeks are swollen, she has a lot of bubbling in her eyes and swelling in her eyes. I don't know if there is another med I should try or if this is a wait and see type of thing? Any ideas?

This little girl was limping from this wound on her foot and also showed respiratory symptoms. She overcame the "cold" from just Duramycin but has this big open wound on her foot. This pic was taken after I soaked it in epsom salts and removed a bunch of dead tissue. I've been soaking it in epsom salts, cleaning it out with peroxide and trying to gently remove dead tissue, and keeping neosporin on it. I've also started giving her .25cc of Tylan-50 to try to prevent any further infection. She is being kept in the bathtub and has befriended the other sick hen and is moving around. She is also extremely underweight. Is there anything else I can be doing? .
