Personality change?

Our pretty sizzle boy has suddenly turned nasty, attacking us as soon as he sees us come out the back door. He's just about 6-7 months old, so I figure it's a hormone change. But is it a permanent change? I'd hate to get rid of him, he's so pretty and would make great babies, but I don't want to keep a rooster who keeps trying to take my eyes out!

You can try to reform him; chase him down and carry him around (upside down is good), make him move away from you all the time, and no treats. He MIGHT get the message, but probably not. If two or three episodes don't change his attitude, that's not at all good. He may also learn to respect you, but continue to attack everyone else. Not safe, and lousy genetics to pass on. Good luck!
