Pesticides

I have a bag worm infestation. So bad that its killing my trees. I have chickens that run in the yard as well. Does anyone know of a pesticide that would no harm the chickens?

I had a problem with bag worms once. I didn't use pesticide - I attached a high power nozzel to my garden hose and sprayed them out of the tree before they hatched. I think the pressure from the water is what actually killed them.

My mom always picks the bag worms off. Get some guineas! They will eat the bugs. All pesticides can be bad, even Sevin dust.

Thanks! Unfortunately they are no longer in the bags. They are on the trees individually in little pods, they look like xmas tree ornaments hanging from them. They drop to the ground and crawl w/ their pod to the next tree. There are sooooooo many of them. They killed one of my trees in two days! Wish i could get guineas but i have a predator problem.
