Pet pheasants

Hey guys I'm new to BYC and I made a bet with my dad that I could make 2 of our pheasant chicks pets his requirements are that it can sit on my shoulder stand on my hand and eat out of my hand so I have a couple of questions 1st is it possible they are ringed necks 2nd can you give me some tips on how to do it I will post pics as I go along thanks for the help

I have only been able to get some to eat out of my hand. But I've heard of people getting them to sit on shoulders. My only suggestion is that you spend a ton of time with them. Good luck

If they were the blk mutations you would have better luck but being they are ringnecks you will have your work cut out for you.

Chinese Ring-necked are so skiddish! Not best breed for that I would say. Keep us posted! Wish u luck...
