OK phew!- I thought they were sick or something. Glad they finally know who's boss. Raised them from day olds but they went thru this phase where they would bite us- HARD! and twist like they meant business. Sometimes I'd bleed, we had to assert ourselves and threaten them with a roasting pan.(honestly it was bad- I got them for pets but was debating eating them or rehoming them) I guess they finally learned... The behavior just seems funny; when company arrives the turkeys all come over to the driveway and lay down paralyzed in front of everyone and people are like "whats wrong with your turkeys???" LOL I'm so glad nothing is really wrong with them. Kids like it because they can go over and hug them and kiss them and try and pick them up and the turkeys dont even blink. I feel much better knowing this is normal (perhaps excessive- but still normal) and they are fine!
