So there’s a pheasant needing a home locally, would it be safe to keep a pheasant with chickens? Are there virus risks? Are pheasants known to attack chickens?
I’m not too worried about my flock bullying, they’re fairly anti-bullying. I get rid of any bullies.

Pheasants aren't like chickens and can't be kept like or with chickens, unfortunately.
And chickens are little typhoid Mary's for many species. Good thoughts though.

Hmm would they be okay near each other but in different pens? My flock free ranges but maybe I could section off a part of a barn and get a run up for him/her then find him/her a buddy

I'd recommend you ask 007sean or read the pheasants section of the articles, I'm not sure.
