In July we were haying and a swather uncovered a nest. I took the eggs and put them under a broody silky. Four days later I got 8 baby pheasant. My question is when can I let them go? They are all feathered out and man do they Jump around in the broody box. I would like to give them the best chance for a great life. I haven't handled them at all. I hope they can go out and produce more. How soon can I let them go and is there any advice on the best way to do it?
Thank You

We raised a few this year. At about 8 weeks they went out into a large flight pen we built. At 12 weeks we opened the door. They come and go as they please. Going more lately than coming. We plan to continue to put out feed all winter if they want to come get some. Ours are almost all colored up now.
