Pheasant egg begin hatched by pigeon

The incubation time is quite different. The pigeons will likely give up before the egg has a chance of hatching. I did have some barn pigeons hatch a couple bantam eggs. After hatching I gave the chicks to a hen that had new chicks.

I dont know I have seen some of these pigeons try to sit for 40 day and some give up in if you look at them the wrong way

Any updates. I am currently researching and may give my pigeons pheasant eggs to hatch instead of dud ones to keep the pigeon numbers down.
