Hi again good friends!
I'm now in a breeding project about pheasants in Costa Rica.
You know, here in my country we have no pure Lady Amherst pheasants, just hybrids, so since some time ago a idea was passing on my head.
I'm planning to buy eggs of this pheasants for hatching them here at home. But i'm completely unexpert on these situations. This is because the burocrathic proceedment in Costa Rica for importing birds is sooooo expensive and umconfortable.
Any of you can give me some recommendations or opinions about my idea? if yes, you know someone who can send them to here?
Great hugs, Roy.

If you do want to import do not import eggs. You will likely have a very poor hatch rate. Juveniles and adults are much better to import.

Hey....Im near San Jose. I have worked with pheasants for 40 years privately as well as at a zoo in the US
