Pheasant pen shape

The pen I want to build is going to be 7500 sq ft. The only problem is the space that I cold put it so that its close to the barn would have to be in the shape of an L. It would be like if you took a 100 by 50 square (long part of the L) and added a 50 by 50 square to it (short part of the L). The pen would hold about 400 ringneck pheasants for about 3-4 months. Is that ok?

I don't think the shape would matter. As for the number of birds, i don't have ringnecks, so I;m not sure. I got that it's 18.75 ft sq. per bird which sounds a bit small, but if they are younger it may work.
