Pheasant Roosts

My three like to perch in some high trees for the night. I always thought pheasants slept on the ground! I worry since there are barred owls in the area.

We have a couple that roost but most of ours stay on the ground in and under cover. Well, unless you go into the pen then they fly everywhere.
