When should the pheasant hen start laying eggs?

A Ringneck should have started a clutch by now. There could be several stress variables preventing her from starting - weather, disturbances, diet, etc.

She was hatched last year. They are fed layer crumbles and scratch grains mixed. I got some pine limbs in the corner for her to nest in. Could the male be messing with her preventing her from starting a nest?
