Pheasants and guineas

If your biosecurity procedures are such that you won't cross contaminate, I don't think guineas next to the pheasant pen will result in any problems.

Drat. I read that pheasants like to try to escape and will rush the door so my son came up with using the guinea pen as a pseudo airlock to prevent that. He wanted to put the guinea pen on the end, and we would walk into the guinea pen, shut the door, and then open the door to the pheasant pen.

What is the problem with pheasants and chickens? I thought it was blackhead but pheasants apparently deal with that even better than chickens.
