Has anyone ever eat ringneck pheasants?

I grew up eating them... every hunting season. First week in November.

hunt and eat fairly regular...we get a couple months to hunt here and then of course I have friends that raise them

I dont think they taste gamey, I've ate my pen raised birds and wild birds they taste the same to me. But then again I hunt a lot if different upland game birds and I wouldn't say any of them are gamey, squirrel I think is gamey!
