My dad is hatching pheasants for the first time and they have all started to pip. The catch is that he realized that he misread the instructions and had them small side up. They are now out of the egg turner and flat on the bottom of the incubator. The chicks are peeping. Is there anything we should look for in trying to make sure they hatch successfully? He is really concerned that he messed them up/cause the malposition. Any advice?

Thanks!

Just keep watching them and that they are making progress. They may not have enough room to finish coming out without help but they should be alright.

Well, we had 17 hatch successfully. One died after a day or two but the rest seem to be doing great. Thanks for the help.
