So Phillip did Not go back to the auction today, we're still not sure if we are going to keep him but we aren't quite ready to let him go yet.

We did still go to the auction today and came home with 2 more Cutie pie Bull calves (one of which was SUPPOSED to be a heifer!). They are quite pretty boys and took to the bottle Immediately and are doing really good. I dont think they're over 3 days old, they still have that 'new baby poo'

Here's a few pics.....

"Phillip" - Brown swiss. He was feeling a bit BLAH tonight, probably because his light got unplugged and he was a little cold. he just wanted to soak up the warmth from the light.

"Owen" - Red Holstien?? (he's VERY thickly built). He is a STRONG little fart, but has the prettiest markings!

"Avery" - Holstien. He's pretty petite but so stinkin cute! He still has that new baby shine, lol.

How sweet! Maybe Phillip will take the hint watching these boys eat!

I saw an ad on craigslist today for a 10 day old bottle heifer, I'm seriously considering giving them a call tomarrow, maybe get Brat a friend. I doubt it will last long, so I better deside fast.

His markings look strange for a Holstien, but they never tell you what they are

I saw some really pretty dairy/milk heifers that went through for slaughter

One solid chocolate brown one i would have loved to buy, i am positive she wasnt a jersey or anything. she also wasnt as big as the MASSIVE old Holstiens.
