Phoenix chicken and peas

Can Phoenix roosters and hens eat raw green peas?

I can't speak to Phoenix birds, but we have easter egger bantams that we've been feeding raw sugar snap peas from the garden. They love them and show not ill effects (we've been eating and loving them, too!)

No comment for Phoenix birds - but my barred Rocks, red-sex links and delawares ate quite a few fresh peas (straight from the vine to the run) last summer, and they were a big hit as a treat. They would have happily eaten lots more, but, i was selfish enough to want some for myself They liked the peas, but the ripped up green pods weren't much liked.
If they are lucky, and I get a good crop this year, they will again get fed some.
