Phoenix egg-laying info

They start laying about 20 weeks old. I have the silver duckwing phoenix chicken and she lays cute little light brown eggs. They're very independent and I have had no aggression with my male. They stay with themselves and are very docile. They're probably about a year old now. One thing that surprised me, they're not likely to be broody that I read. Mine is always broody it seems like, just sitting on eggs. Not mean at all, but just sits.
