Hello! I am reading about the Phoenix breed as I am about to acquire a pair for the first time. I am seeing that, "the American Poultry Association recognizes silver and gold varieties of Phoenix" but I can't find any mention of recognizing the white variety. This pair I am getting is white, which is exciting to me, but my question is:
Can I show white phoenix birds at shows? If it is not a "recognized breed", wouldn't it be disqualified or not taken into the judging? I'm knew to showing birds, so I'm at a lose without some help.
