My guineas were purchased from the feed store at a few days old. However now at 3 weeks they seem like they look quite a bit older to me. A friend has guineas a few weeks older that look a lot like mine. Do you think mine look older than 3 weeks in these photos? They are also fully feathered.

The other thing I'll add is that my keets are chomping at the bit to spread their wings and be out of the coop. I know it's way to early to even consider allowing them to free range. But how about allowing them outside in the coop and run?

Another photo taken today at 3.5 weeks.

My guineas look about like this and I was told they were 2 wks when I bought them. They are now about 4 wks old and haven't grown much. I think it is because I was feeding them chick starter(lower protein content) and meal worms. Now I've got them on a game bird starter & hoping they will grow faster. Mine were flying around a bit when I bought them at 2 wks, and now they're a bit like you described yours...chomping at the bit to fly around and get out. I have been keeping mine out in a smaller coop since the weather here is pretty warm.

Thank you. Yes, I fed mine half chick starter and half game bird starter with a 28% protein. They are like walking footballs! LOL
