(PIC HEAVY) Smoky Mountains/Cades Cove

I had to go home for a few weeks. I took these pics of where I am from, and thought you guys might like them. I am from a town called Newport, TN which is about 25 miles from where I took these pics. Enjoy

this is Laurel Falls in the smokies..it took me 2 hours to get to this fall, but only 20 mins to get down

The sinks in the smokies. This is where lots of people go swimming. Those are my boys jumping off that rock

this is part of the sinks..the fall is first then the big jumping rock.

Last but not least I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. This is the big rooster in my home town at a gas station there.

Thought I would add a few more. I couldn't resist...lol

Those pics bring back some memories! My parents and I went to the Smoky Mountains a couple of times on vacation, and Cades Cove is always my favourite place to visit. I think it's the most beautiful place on earth. I remember the first time we went I shocked my dad by getting up at 4am to go to the park to look for bears (i'm not a morning person). We got there by 5... only to find the park didn't open until 10 that day LOL We still saw some though!
