I had hoped to get a pic of one of my adult layers with these guys, but it just was not in the cards last night. They are bigger than my heavy layers. I only have 2, and this is my first experience with meat birds. The neighbors bought them as "cute chicks for easter" for their kids....then they came over and said "hey since you guys have chickens..." anyway, now we have 2 meat birds, and we are going to have to kill them soon. They have been free ranged almost exclusively and fed a little layer pellet and cracked corn. No meat bird feed, although I did discover they were helping the calves clean up the calf starter,lol. They hatched the week of easter...
