Picked up our first four hatching eggs!

They are golden comet/RIR mixes. They go into the bator at the end of this week. So far the most important lesson has been that a 3 year old has no patience. We've had them for less than an hour and I've heard at least 2 dozen times "Mommy I need to check the eggs."

Just to let you know a 27 yr old (me) has no patience either. My husband just laughs and says "it's been 20 mins, are you going to check the eggs?"

I just finished my first hatch and I can only say.... if you think its bad now wait until they pip....
