Here is a link to pics of the beginning of our picket fence run. The run is 24' X 24'. The lean to will be closed in by winter for warmth. We plan to use straw for the floor in the coop because I like to use it for mulching my garden. The lean to has a separate area to house our feed and other supplies. No electricity yet, but will have by this winter. I will be planting sunflower seed soon around the outside of the coop, a plum tree for inside the run to offer shade and "fun" for the chickens, and some vining plants for around the outside of the pickets so some green can "peek" through into the run.
