Picking chicks

Hi, our 36 hour old bantam is pecking at the face of our 12 hour old RIR. Is this normal, and do we need to try and stop it?

It is somewhat normal because there is food bits on eachother they will get off. I would watch to make sure it is not out of being mean. All of mine have and still do it sometimes, but not all the time. Good luck!

We have two 2 week EE chics , the bigger one started pecking the Lil ones eyes.. She actually bit her eye ball and we had to separate them. Keep an eye out for that!
