Picking on one hen

My rooster is picking on one hen and not letting her back in the coop. He is also pecking her and pulling out mouthfulls of feathers. Why?? She is molting and looks pitiful. And it is cold here...soo she has no one to snuggle with.....Any suggestions?

I am so sorry, I have never had that happen. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help. I hate it when one or two get picked on though, it just breaks your heart!
