Picky hens

Well my hens are on layena pellets. They have been eating them fine, but 2 days ago they got into my area with my 10 weeks old and got a taste of the grower mash they used to be on when they were younger. Now there refuseing to eat the pellets!! I tryed muxing it but they just ate around the pellets. I can get layer mash at my mill for cheeper than the layena pellets, but they used to spill the mash everywhere!!! But my new feeder make them not spill it at all! So what should I do with the other 30lbs of layer pellets!

Can you soak them and feed them mushy? Or mix them with scratch grain? They might eat it if they think it's a treat.
