As much as I hate to see animals killed, I understand it has to be done sometimes.

Taking the pictures down is not going to bring the chicks back, and the information these pictures provide will save many times more chicks than the ones that were killed in order to do these pictures.

Wow, that's very cool and very educational. Sometimes it's easier to really get what's going on inside the egg to see a real picture as opposed to a drawing.
