Pics of my 1 week old chicks.

Here's some pics of the chicks I received last friday, all are doing well and their growth amazes me. They drink about half a quart of water daily and poo everywhere but that's to be expected. Their wings feathers have tripled in length and some birds are starting to grow tail feathers.

Here's my black giant rooster.

They love the mini roost I made for them.

Is that tail feathers I see ???????

Hey Dave! Nice looking birds!

Look just like mine! I have to make a roost for mine! Yours really do like it! I can't believe how much they can mess up the place! I just might let them go to shavings alone tomorrow. Looks like you're doing a great job with them!

Dave, Very nice birds, great color assortment. I like you little roos as well. I finally made one something like that. For my Silkies they just don't want to climb or jump, I just added another 2x4 under the base and they are still on it at 6 months old. They may never want to go higher.
