This girl (duck) went broody on 16 eggs, one week before they hatch a possum came and ate 12 eggs and tore her chest open. She was able to fight the possum off and saved 4 eggs. She had to be put down, she was slowly bleeding to death( the 4 eggs were covered in blood). So we gave them to the bantam cochin and she hatched them out.

Your sebright looks wonderful. How many do you have?

Thanks, We have two Sebrights a silver laced and a gold laced, both boys

. I'm going to sell the gold because we like the silver better ( even though he does not have a spiked rose comb, he just has a rose comb)
