Here are my beautiful chicks that hatched yesterday. I had 3 showgirls and 2 silkies. 1 silkie passed away over night, he was turned wrong in his egg and couldn't unzip so I got him out, at first he was weak but the was doing fine after I put them in the brooder. He did sleep a lot and was still weak and didn't hold his head up all the way. Also he was covered with the clear dry egg stuff, I got most of it off. The other chicks were doing fine, running around eating drinking. We left for 3 and a half hours and came home and my black showgirl was dead. It litterally looks like he died standing up and just fell over, he also had the egg stuff dried on him. Any clue as to what might have happened.
