Oh yes, they do! I can say where is Biscuit, and if she doesn't appear, one of the others will go run her out from behind a bush. Any lower in pecking order appreciate being called by name with positive reinforcement. I sing their names also, while scooping the coop most days, and often 1 will decide to sing along with me. However if you are calling for a potential *Broody* who is hidden under a bush somewhere - the others will pretend they don't know who or where she is, so keep looking if you think there should be more eggs in Spring.
