Here he is! He's settling in. Although he did go wandering away yesterday, I found him by "gobbling" and he answered me.

For some reason they really like to lay in the horse manure pile, maybe cause it is warm.

nice narragansett tom!! what is the hen she looks like a beltville tom!!

I believe she is a BBW. I got her at a chicken swap last year as a just feathered bird with a tom the same age. It was an impulse purchase, I never owned turkey's before. I lost the tom, but the hen is doing well. I love her to bits. I have been looking for another turkey for a while now and finally found this guy. I picked him up on Saturday.

I was tickled pink when I got to the place where I got him and saw him. His owners had had a pair of Royal Palms and him. The palms were sold already and gone so he was living with chickens. I was absolutely thrilled. They must have thought I was a weirdo because I had permagrin from the minute I saw him. The husband did say that he was pleased that he would be going as a pet and not someone's dinner.

Handsome! I have Narragansetts and Bourbon Reds turkeys. Thank you so much for sharing!
