This is our first kid of this breeding season. First for her Mom too.
Yes...it is a little girl!!!
The dam is not a registered Nubian, but the sire is.

Of course she was born in this cold and rainy spell we are having right now. We had to move them to the rabbit barn, because one of the other does that is still pregnant was trying to take the baby.

She is camera shy....LOL

I just love kids!!! (The four-legged kind)

I've been checking on them every hour, since it is her first time. Her bag is so tight and tender, I need to make sure the baby is nursing OK.
My last trip out into the rain, the little one was laying down napping, all snug and warm.
This is only my 2nd year with Nubians, so it is still a learning experience for me.
I can hardly wait until my favorite doe kids!!! Her kids will be bottle fed and I will milk her. She is an awesome milker.

Now I have to think of a name for the baby.
