Picture of new chicken coop. Any suggestions?

This is our coop my dad built it. Think it needs a wall and door for roost area or you think it will be ok?

It needs a roost, thats where the chickens sleep and relax, they need somewhere where they won't always have to be on the floor.

It has a roost it's just kind of hard to see in the picture. The nest boxes will be built by the end of the day. They are too young to lay right now. I think the roost bar needs to be a little bigger

Just 4

One or two roosts are fine. you might want them at different heights.

Are the roosts small dowel rod? Might be too small.
.....and they'll need to be higher than the nests or they'll sleep in the nests and poop in them.

The hardware cloth is great-kudos on that!

We live in Arkansas so crazy hot and humid in summer,
And pretty mild winters.
