We had a very beautiful day last thursday and I let my "two" week ducklings go free in the yard. My three free ranging 9 week old chicks were uninterested in them and even willingly shared their favorite bush with them. I don't trust my four older chickens so I kept them in the run...
I'm sad it will be raining for about 8 days now and I'm afraid I'll be losing my tenuous bond with my ducklings who live on the patio now.

I let my babies out everyday....I put there wired cage over them and a board so they can sun outside, but when Im outside, I'll sit close by and let them run....

Ming-Ming and David... Any ideas on what these are? Ming-Ming (named by my 5 year old nephew) was a TSC Sick duckie rescue, David I believe is some type of Runner.. He stands up tall and walks.

Such cute duckies! So much cuter than chicks IMO.
