I wasn't so sure about getting chickens till I saw this site. After looking at all the great designs of coops on this site, I became really inspired and wanted to come up with a design on my own. I will draft up some plans of this particular coop design and have them available for download in PDF documents. Best part about this coop is that the materials are really common and if your lucky like me you can get them for free!

I loved the design. I'll probably make 1 coop based on your design.
Its all good, except the ramp access. Isnt it too dangerous for the hens? I mean they may have their toes stuck in there... Also it is too high; to leave the coop they rather jump from there instead of walk by. Idk I'm just wondering.

Hello! The coop still needs to be finished and the ramp that is there is only temporary. I plan on building one with 1"x1" wooden steps for them. Also, the reason it is raised is for A) so they are off the ground and predators can't reach them, and B) because I plan on enclosing the bottom in with wire and giving them a trap door so they can go up and down to the dirt without me having to let them loose. I'll update this post with plans and pictures of the finished product when I finish. Cheers!

A great program for 3D, Residential, Light Commercial. It even imports and exports AutoCad files.
