I should just show you guys the pictures of my buff orps I got from Ideal also.

Two of the girls have been laying for almost two weeks now. Were patiently (not!) waiting for the other three ladies to start laying.

Beautiful! We are going Sunday after church to pick up some BO chicks from a private farmer. I hope our's turn out as pretty as your's have.

I have a really dumb question. do BO's lay the LIGHT brown eggs???? I have always thought those came from a different hen.... Now I am totally wondering!

I thought the egg would darken with laying age. So do they stay a pinkish light brown all the time?
