I have to watch these 2 pups I have. They bond so tightly with the babies, I saw this female in the picture squatting for the lamb as if to let her nurse! And this pup is only 4 months old!
They have only seen one baby before these 3. It was a goat kid, that they mothered too, and they kept her from freezing when it got so cold here the first of January.

I had to put the ewe and the twins in the horse trailer so they will bond with their Mom and not the dogs.

It sure is a cute site, though, seeing the pups mother the babies. I was worried about them being so young, without their Mother to show them what to do. (She passed away when the pups were 8 weeks old.)

These are the same pups that have killed a skunk and a possum recently.

Very sweet!!! WOW..that ram has some wild horns!!!! We have barbado sheep too...We have 4 babies so far..2 sets of twins, one new momma lost her single baby about a week ago...
