Pictures of my new babies!!!!

Hi All! Here are the pictures of the babies I picked up at the P. O. yesterday. I orderd 25 got 27. My favorite one died already and it was my fault!

(The whole sad story is on the "Emergencies" thing.) But I am trying to get happy again. Spent several hours in the "nursery" with the babies and am feeling better and know how to be much more careful now.

I got a couple of mystery chicks I was hoping to get help IDing....
This one has a poof ball on her head:

Then there is the yellow one with black stripes on her back:

And here are some of the rest, RIR's Barred Rocks, and Black Australorps:

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the Barred Rocks and the Australorps, I'm guessing since I ordered 5 the Australorps are the five without any yellow on their heads? A couple of those have a lot of yellow on their bodies still, and I have some with barely a yellow dot on their head and no yellow on their bodies.

The first one looks like a white crested black polish, Not sure of the second one.
The Barred rocks will have spots on their heads, and the Australorps will not.
They sure are cute Babies!! Congrats!!

Our barred rock had a yellow dot on his head and yellow on his body. He was supposed to be dominique, they look almost the same, but he turned out to be barred rock, and he is one of my favorite!!

Does anyone have any guesses as to the yellow one with the black stripes? She is very sweet and one of the several that come running to me when they hear my voice.
So the general opinion is that poof head is a Polish. I've been calling her the "poodle chick". I might just have to get a diamond collar for her and carry her around in a purse.
