Hi, I just placed an order with Cackle hatchery and would like to hear about your experience and the quality of your birds. Please post pictures of any chicken breeds/poultry you received from them in the past.

Hello...I am on my way out the door this morning to our local MFA
( mo feed store ) to order my new flock from Cackle Hatchery.
MFA has a Chick Day and that is where the chicks come from , so I can go there and just order from the catalog. I wont recieve my chicks till April 1 or 2 . Seems like forever to have to wait!!!

I have heard only good things about them and since they are only about 2 hours away from here...that makes it better for the chicks, too. A shorter trip and less stress.
