I got some pigeons given to me and they have leg bands, the bands are NPA bands, there is a 7 which im hearing is the band size, then 11 which is year? then there is the larger number which I read is the individual bird number?
Okay so heres the question, I see on the NPA website they have "found pigeon" links and it tells you to email them the numbers and they will contact the original owner, is there any way to track down the owner of my birds? They were not lost and found, they were sold to my uncle and then given to me, I am just curious where they came from and wanted to let the guy know they are doing well.
